Celebrating the completion of Project Unify

Last year we acquired a company that enabled eve to enhance its network and catalogue of connectivity products.

We named the technology and infrastructure integration Project Unify, which also included the addition of new data centres, carriers and on-net exchanges.

Now the project has been completed eve’s resellers can enjoy a more diverse portfolio of services, national coverage and lower prices. Resellers, like you, will be able to generate higher margins by distributing eve’s latest products and services, allowing end-users to benefit from a number of enhancements.

more control

Our new MPLS (Multi-Protocol Label Switching) secure network overlay delivers private networks without internet connection, giving the end-user full access and control.

The MPLS secure network will be available across all services including broadband, ethernet, 4G (LTE) and the cloud. MPLS offers a number of advantages over IPSec VPN (Virtual Private Network) connectivity; it delivers a secure private network, enables end-to-end intelligent ‘Quality of Service’ between sites to support voice and video, and enables managed internet access with a single entry and exit point to the corporate network.

more consistency and stability

Because eve’s products are now in a number of exchanges, the circuits and resilience can be geographically closer to the end-user. Such systems ensure there is minimal downtime should a component of the connection fail, like cable disruption from groundwork, because a secondary circuit takes over ensuring no loss of connectivity.

Our newly acquired server sites offer more diverse high availability circuits, and consequently a more consistent and stable connection, which translates to a more resilient connection framework for businesses.

centralised security firewall

eve Wholesale’s centralised security firewall can be added to our MPLS product and enables us to manage a business’s network security features from a single point, protecting the integrity of the network’s assets such as its data.

For organisations with multiple sites, protecting each one with its own firewall can be inefficient, time-consuming, and ultimately more unsafe, because it entails configuring and maintaining each individual firewall. A singular centralised firewall, maintained by our industry experts, offers more streamlined management, easier configuration, improved visibility and better compliance, which offers better protection overall.

More upgrades are planned but, in the meantime, we’re excited for our partners to benefit from Project Unify. If you have any questions about our products, please get in touch.
